Pressure spray dryer protection system

The typical YPG series pressure spray dryer penetrates the organic water-repellent or organic solvent-containing suspension through the spray nozzle in the drying container. If the sprayed product cloud comes under the influence of gravity, it is dried by a stream of hot air. The dried material leaves the YPG series pressure spray dryer and can be further dried or cooled through a fluid bed dryer/cooler into a dust collector, for example before a dust filter or cyclone separator. Furthermore, multiple separators may also be used.

Spray drying may be harmless due to the large amounts of combustible dust produced. While the material passes through as wet YPG series pressure spray dryer, it dries quickly and is characterized by ignition quality. This ignition is accomplished by luminescent particles penetrating oil or gas heaters. Explosions can be caused by mechanically installed parts or by self-igniting dust from material residues in the dryer.

Precautions and Protection System of Spray Dryer
The drying system of the protection system must be designed so that the inner wall of the container is smooth. This prevents the formation of product deposits and provides an efficient operation of the dryer and partitions. The extinguishing nozzle of IEP technology means that the extinguishing powder is fully dispersed and the separator is not weakened during the deposition process.

Description of Spray Dryer Protection Systems
YPG series pressure spray dryer usually consists of two parts. The product in the first part is dried. In the second part, the dry material is deposited from the air stream. Hence the usual dual zone systems used as explosion suppression systems. Dry containers and downstream equipment. Both areas are installed between fire barriers, which minimize the risk of explosion flames meeting on to other areas. Here capture machines and dust collectors such as cyclones do not have proper explosion pressure sensors as the pressure rises in the incipient explosion. The sensor sends a signal to the control center for further activation with the HRD fire extinguisher at the affected area. These fireballs are removed before the equipment rapidly distributes the extinguishing agent to maximum explosion pressure. The control center also drives the automatic descent, thus preventing the spread of burning materials, dust and air.
