How to achieve continuous drying of disc tray dryer

When using a disc tray dryer for evaporative drying, no other mechanical equipment will be added for integrated operation, but other special circumstances are not excluded. For example, if you want to increase the continuous drying of the disc dryer during the drying process, and there is no continuous dryer equipped, you can equip the disc tray dryer with a fin heater to achieve continuous drying of the dryer.

 

This drying mechanical equipment is suitable for drying processes with high evaporation intensity. On the basis of the basic configuration, a fin heater is added to pass a small flow of hot air into the dryer to absorb the water vapor escaping from the material during the drying process and prevent moisture from condensing on the top of the dryer and in the exhaust pipe.

 

During drying, a heating medium is passed into the hollow drying plate. The heating medium is in the form of saturated steam, hot water and heat transfer oil. The heating medium enters from one end of the drying plate and is discharged from the other end. The dried material falls from the last layer of the drying plate to the bottom layer of the shell, and is then moved to the discharge port by rakes. The moisture escapes from the material and is discharged through the moisture outlet on the top cover. The moisture of the vacuum disc dryer is extracted by the vacuum pump on the top cover.

 

The dry material discharged from the bottom layer can be directly packaged. By adding auxiliary equipment such as fin heaters, solvent recovery condensers, bag dust collectors, dry material remixing mechanisms, and induced draft fans, its drying production capacity can be improved. Paste-like and heat-sensitive materials can be dried, the solvent can be easily recovered, and pyrolysis and reaction operations can be performed.
