Principle and characteristics of BLPG closed cycle centrifugal spray dryer

BLPG closed-circuit centrifugal spray dryer is suitable for solutions, emulsified suspensions and slurries, which contain organic solvents, volatile toxic gases, or products of the materials that are easily oxidized, and the solvent needs to be recovered. It not only has all the advantages of a centrifugal spray dryer, but also no powder is emitted into the ambient air during the drying process. The collection rate of dry product was almost 100%. The solvent recovered by the recovery system can be reused and kept circulating in the system, thereby reducing the production cost. It is widely used in medicine, chemical industry and other industries.

Working principle and configuration options of BLPG closed-circuit centrifugal spray dryer:
Firstly, the heated nitrogen gas is filled into the tower, and the liquid materials to be dried are conveyed to the centrifugal atomizer through the liquid conveying pump, then they are rotated at a high speed, and finally become fine liquid droplets, which are heated in the drying tower Nitrogen fully conducts heat exchange, the liquid part is evaporated instantly, and the solid part becomes powder material and falls to the bottom of the drying tower, and then the dry powder is discharged from the bottom of the tower.

Under the action of the fan, the evaporated organic solvent passes through the cyclone separator, the bag filter to remove the nitrogen in the powder, and then is condensed in the condenser. To avoid any liquid solvent being carried over, we include a gas-liquid separator after the condenser.

Inert gas (such as nitrogen, etc.) as the working drying medium will be reheated and distributed in the system to form a closed cycle. The BLPG closed-circuit centrifugal spray dryer works under a completely sealed system, the drying medium is an inert gas (such as nitrogen, etc.), and the working system is under positive pressure. The pressure transmitter will control the nitrogen inlet system to feed nitrogen when the system is under negative pressure, then, to ensure the pressure balance of the system.

It has the protection effect of using nitrogen as a dry material on a circulating carrier. A circulating carrier such as nitrogen will carry the moisture, dehumidify and distribute it in the system. Circulation carriers will be reused.
Conventional ordinary centrifugal spray drying has continuous air supply and exhaust to achieve the purpose of drying and negative operating pressure under the drying tower, which is obviously different from the explosion-proof closed-circuit centrifugal spray drying system. Therefore, the explosion-proof closed-circuit centrifugal spray drying system is especially suitable for drying with organic solvents, toxic gases and the needs of materials in the drying process to protect materials from oxidation.

Features of our equipment:
1. Explosion-proof design, equipped with explosion release discs or vents on the main unit and key components, thus ensuring the safety of the operation. (There are no explosive release discs or vents for volatile toxic gases, but the design is rather special)
2. The solvent will be recovered, so the product cost is low.
3. It adopts fully enclosed design, so that the collection rate of the final product is very high, almost 100%, which is usually lower than that of other types of dryers.
4. Equipped with a washing tower system, and adopts advanced atomization to improve the operation reliability of washing equipment.
5. For oxidizable materials, BLPG closed-loop centrifugal spray dryer uses inert gas as the medium to ensure that the materials will not be oxidized.
