The structure of the rotary vacuum dryer affects the drying effect of the material

When the barrel of the rotary vacuum dryer is stacked with granular or powdery materials, when the angle between the inclined surface of the material stack and the bottom surface increases to a certain angle, the phenomenon that the side material will fall down will occur. At this time, the angle between the slope and the bottom where the material slips is called the slip angle of the material (the slip angle is related to the composition, moisture content, particle size and viscosity of the material). Therefore, in the design and selection of the double-cone rotary vacuum dryer, the angle of the cone should be selected according to the slip angle of the material. The ratio of the actual charging volume to the drying cylinder volume is the filling rate. The filling rate of the double cone rotary vacuum dryer is usually between 30% and 50%, which is also related to the bulk density of the material.


In some double-cone rotary vacuum dryers, the evacuated tube empty sleeve rotary shaft device adopts a double-frame shaft sealing structure. Due to the unreliable sealing of this structure, it is easy to cause leakage under the action of vacuuming the cylinder, and sometimes it occurs. The so-called "oil leak" phenomenon.


At the same time, due to the unreliable sealing, the powder will accumulate during drying. The accumulated powder here is difficult to wash with the ordinary rotary dynamic water washing method, which will cause cross-contamination when changing batches. In the cleaning of some double-cone rotary vacuum dryer cylinders, some rely on switching the vacuum pipeline, put in the cleaning water to rotate the cylinder and then clean it, so the dynamic cleaning method cannot be completely cleaned, at least in the dynamic and static contact surfaces and the structure. The material can not be cleaned.
