Fluidized bed equipment has been widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other industries due to its advantages of simple structure, easy maintenance, and good safety. At present, the types of fluidized bed drying equipment commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry mainly include high-efficiency boiling dryers, horizontal boiling dryers, vibrating fluidized bed dryers, etc. As far as fluidized bed equipment is concerned, its shortcomings are first of all low energy utilization and it is a high energy consumption equipment. The energy consumption of the vibrating fluidized bed is mainly the electricity consumed by the fan and the steam consumed by the heater for heat exchange. The consumption of steam accounts for a large proportion of the energy consumption. For designers and manufacturers of vibrating fluidized beds, technical measures should be taken to improve the energy utilization of vibrating fluidized beds.
Based on usage practice, there are three ways to improve energy-saving effects:
1. Strengthen the sealing effect of the vibrating fluidized bed. In the past, the boiling pot of some high-efficiency boiling dryers was poorly integrated with the equipment body, resulting in serious air leakage. The outside cold air entered the pot, greatly reducing the hot air temperature, affecting the drying effect and reducing thermal efficiency.
2. Improve the heat exchange effect of the heater. The heater has rough workmanship and low heat exchange efficiency, which will increase steam consumption. At present, dryers in fluidized bed drying equipment combinations mostly use steel pipes wrapped around fins for heat exchange. Steel pipes save material costs, but copper pipes have better heat exchange effects.
3. Reuse exhaust air. The tail wind extracted from the ebullating bed is higher than a certain temperature of natural air. Part of the tail wind can be used to enter the heater to reduce steam loss.
