Description
(Egg White) Spray Dryer is the most widely used process in liquid shaping technology. It is suitable for producing powder and granules solid products from solution, emulsion, soliquoid, and pumpable paste materials. Therefore, when the particle size, final moisture, bulk density and granules shape meet the accurate standard, centrifugal spray drying is a ideal drying process.
Working Principle
After filtering and heating, the air enters the air distributor on the top of the dryer, and the hot air enters the drying chamber evenly in a spiral shape. The material liquid passes through the high-speed centrifugal atomizer on the top of the tower, and (rotating) sprays into very fine misty liquid beads, which can be dried into finished products in a very short time in cocurrent contact with hot air. The finished product is continuously output from the bottom of the drying tower and the cyclone separator, and the exhaust gas is evacuated by the fan.
Characteristics:
1. The drying speed is fast, and the surface area of the material liquid is increased after atomization. In the hot air flow, the moisture is instantly evaporated and the drying time is 5-15 seconds, which is suitable for drying heat sensitive materials.
2. Simplified production process, convenient operation and control, suitable for continuous production control.
3. High product quality with good uniformity, fluidity and solubility.
4. The product particle size, bulk density and moisture can be adjusted by changing the operating conditions within a certain range.
Applicable Materials
Egg White Powder
Egg white is the clear liquid (also called the albumen or the glair/glaire) contained within an egg. In chickens it is formed from the layers of secretions of the anterior section of the hen's oviduct during the passage of the egg. It forms around fertilized or unfertilized egg yolks.
Food: Amino acid, vitamin, egg powder, bone powder, protein, milk powder, blood powder, soy sauce powder, coffee, tea powder, glucose, pentadiene carboxylic acid, pectin, flavours, vegetable juice, yeast, starch, etc.
Ceramic: Alumina, zirconia, magnesium oxide, Titania, pottery clay, china clay, all kinds of magnetic porcelain and metal-oxides, etc.
Chemical: Aluminum polychloride, disperse dyes, reactive dyes, organic catalyzer, white carbon black, washing powder, zinc sulfate, silica, sodium metasilicate, potassium fluoride, calcium carbonate, potassium sulfate, inorganic catalyzer, wasted liquid, etc.
