Description
(Coffee Powder) Spray Dryer is the most widely used process in liquid shaping technology. It is suitable for producing powder and granules solid products from solution, emulsion, soliquoid, and pumpable paste materials. Therefore, when the particle size, final moisture, bulk density and granules shape meet the accurate standard, centrifugal spray drying is a ideal drying process.
Working Principle
Liquid material is atomized through a special pressure nozzle with a high-pressure pump. Hot air enters the dryer after being adjusted by an air distributor. The material and hot air is mixed in the dryer, rapidly carries on heat and mass transfer. Powder or granular products are produced in a very short time. Products with larger particles size are discharged from the bottom of the dryer, smaller particles enter the cyclone with hot air. The exhaust gas is discharged into the air after dust removal in a scrubber. The dryers can be divided into high, middle and low-pressure spray dryers according to different pressures of atomization, while taking into account different flow fields, they are divided into co-current, fountain mode and counter-current spray dryers.
Characteristics:
(1) Original imported centrifugal nozzle, high efficiency
(2) The feed volume can be adjusted by a peristaltic pump, and the minimum sample volume can reach 50ml.
(3) After drying, the particle size of the dry powder is relatively uniform, and more than 95% of the dry powder is within the same particle size range.
(4) The drying speed is fast, and 95-98% of the water can be evaporated immediately. It takes more than ten seconds to complete the drying time.
(5) Use co-current spray drying. During the drying process, the droplet temperature is not high and the product quality is good.
(6) According to the physical properties of the material, it can be dried with hot air or cold air.
(7) Since the drying process is completed immediately, the particles of the product can basically maintain the spherical shape of the droplets, and the product has good dispersibility, fluidity and solubility.
(8) Simplify the production process, convenient operation and control. Spray drying is usually used for solvents with a moisture content of 40-60%. Even if the water content is as high as 90%, special materials can be dried into powder products at the same time.
(9) In order to prevent the material from being contaminated and prolong the life of the equipment, all parts in contact with the material are made of high-quality stainless steel.

Coffee Powder
Instant coffee, also called soluble coffee, coffee crystals, and coffee powder, is a beverage derived from brewed coffee beans that enables people to quickly prepare hot coffee by adding hot water or milk to the powder or crystals and stirring. Instant coffee is commercially prepared by either freeze-drying or spray drying, after which it can be rehydrated. Instant coffee in a concentrated liquid form is also manufactured.
Food: Amino acid, vitamin, egg powder, bone powder, protein, milk powder, blood powder, soy sauce powder, coffee, tea powder, glucose, pentadiene carboxylic acid, pectin, flavours, vegetable juice, yeast, starch, etc.
Ceramic: Alumina, zirconia, magnesium oxide, Titania, pottery clay, china clay, all kinds of magnetic porcelain and metal-oxides, etc.
Chemical: Aluminum polychloride, disperse dyes, reactive dyes, organic catalyzer, white carbon black, washing powder, zinc sulfate, silica, sodium metasilicate, potassium fluoride, calcium carbonate, potassium sulfate, inorganic catalyzer, wasted liquid, etc.
