It is suitable for producing powder and granules solid products from solution, emulsion, soliquoid, and pumpable paste materials. Therefore, when the particle size, final moisture, bulk density and granules shape meet the accurate standard, centrifugal spray drying is a ideal drying process.



Working Principle

Liquid material is atomized through a special pressure nozzle with a high-pressure pump. Hot air enters the dryer after being adjusted by an air distributor. The material and hot air is mixed in the dryer, rapidly carries on heat and mass transfer. Powder or granular products are produced in a very short time. Products with larger particles size are discharged from the bottom of the dryer, smaller particles enter the cyclone with hot air. The exhaust gas is discharged into the air after dust removal in a scrubber. The dryers can be divided into high, middle and low-pressure spray dryers according to different pressures of atomization, while taking into account different flow fields, they are divided into co-current, fountain mode and counter-current spray dryers.


Characteristics:

(1) In the spray drying system, all materials and air entering the system must be sterilized. The product collection must also be carried out in a sterile room. For this reason, the spray material must be filtered and sterilized before being sent to the sprayer, and the compressed air used for spraying must also be purified before use.

(2) The air used for drying is filtered by primary, medium-efficiency filters and high-efficiency filters to obtain purified air, and then heated by a heater to the spray dryer. The dried product is separated from the air by a cyclone separator. The finished products are collected and packaged on the clean bench in the sterile room. The exhaust gas is emptied after being cleaned by a bag filter.

(3) The device has simple structure, good airflow contact, uniform atomization, and can meet the requirements of aseptic spraying.

(4) The spray tower is equipped with a sweeping device to facilitate cleaning of the powder attached to the tower wall.

(5) The hot air purification selects the primary, medium and high-efficiency three-stage filtration system, so the air purification quality is high and meets the requirements of GMP pharmaceutical production.

Pectin Powder

Pectin is a structural acidic heteropolysaccharide contained in the primary and middle lamella and cell walls of terrestrial plants. Its main component is galacturonic acid, a sugar acid derived from galactose. It was first isolated and described in 1825 by Henri Braconnot. It is produced commercially as a white to light brown powder, mainly extracted from citrus fruits, and is used in food as a gelling agent, particularly in jams and jellies. It is also used in dessert fillings, medicines, sweets, as a stabilizer in fruit juices and milk drinks, and as a source of dietary fiber.


Food: Amino acid, vitamin, egg powder, bone powder, protein, milk powder, blood powder, soy sauce powder, coffee, tea powder, glucose, pentadiene carboxylic acid, pectin, flavours, vegetable juice, yeast, starch, etc.


Ceramic: Alumina, zirconia, magnesium oxide, Titania, pottery clay, china clay, all kinds of magnetic porcelain and metal-oxides, etc.


Chemical: Aluminum polychloride, disperse dyes, reactive dyes, organic catalyzer, white carbon black, washing powder, zinc sulfate, silica, sodium metasilicate, potassium fluoride, calcium carbonate, potassium sulfate, inorganic catalyzer, wasted liquid, etc.
